Liam Gorton Has been on fire. Not only has Liam completed his national championship run with a double Gold in both freestyle and greco in the men's division. he has been a hammer all season.
Quentin Mensah dusted off his boots after being of the mats for 5 years to win the Canadian World Team Trials. Quentin continues to finish 7th at the Pan Am championships in Argentina. What's even more impressive is that he did it with only two and half months of training. We defiantly look forward to seeing more out of him

This new generation of ladies were untested after coming back from covid19, but the country quickly found out that they were not to be played with. Placing 3 out of 5 girls in the world team finals and winning the team title. The ladies quickly followed up their outstanding performance two weekends later at the Canadian Nationals, where the women's team dominated the competition. 7 out of 9 ladies made it to the final. The women's team captured yet another title national title; but this time not just one but in two different division and age groups. Caping the weekend with 6 gold medals and two team titles
BOth Kiana and Zena Shew win gold medals at the 2019 BC high school championships this February in Langley BC. The win caps off an impressive high school wrestling career for Kiana, who is in her senior year. She was also won the award for the Most Outstanding Female Match of the tournament.
Seal, a Grade 12 student at Mission, capped off a dominant high school career, capturing her fourth consecutive gold medal at the B.C. Secondary Schools Wrestling Association provincial championships.
