Summer training is coming to an end.
The last day of practice is August 20, 2022.
The 2022 - 2023 season registration is now open. Our season will start on September 19, 2022. Just like last season, you will have the option of choosing to train in one of the 3 groups (recreational, Competitive or Xcel)
Ella Finding had an amazing summer competing.
Finding representing team Canada at the Pan American Championships and World championships. The final medal on the women’s side came from Port Moody, B.C.’s Ella Finding. Finding, won her 57kg quarterfinal match, but fell in the semis to the eventual silver medalist, Skyler Little Soldier (USA). Finding put on a great performance in the bronze medal match defeating Fatima Figueroa Alverez (GUA) 11-0. She was the only wrestler from Canada selected to take part in the "More Than Medals" camp in Rome Italy. A camp that consisted of 2 of the best wrestlers from each country. The camp consisted of several world champions and medalists. The World Championships took place in Rome, Italy while the Pam Am's was in Argentina.
Stewart, Några, Mensah, Finding, Groff and Jackson earnd a sport at the Canadian World team finals in Edmonton this past May. Marley Jackson, Quentin Mensah, Ella Finding and Arjun Nagra successes in winning the finals to birth a spot on the 17U Canadian Team.
Joclyn Bhatha, Kye Mills, Khaya Mackillip, Harry Valdes, Devin McCrae, Kiana Shew, Joseph Hunter and Victoria Seal will lead a talent pack group of Coast wrestlers set to compete at the BC High School Provincial Championships March 1st - 3rd. The competition is set to take place at Port Alberni, BC.

3 Coast wrestlers achieve and All American status to hel SFU takes 2nd place as a team at the USA women's University National Championships (WCWA). Missing in the pictures are Justin Abdou (Head Coach) & Payten Alexandra Smith(wrestler). SFU capped the tournament with
3 Gold Medals, 2 Silver Medals, 1 Bronze Medal, 2 Forth place placers,1 -7th place placer.
Great job by all of our athletes who help win matches to push the team forward in the training room and at this tournament.
