The Women's Elite Academy program is designed for advanced competitive players entering 4th and 12th grade, who are serious about taking their knowledge of the sport to the next level. Students participating in Women's Elite Academy are generally well developed in their technical skill and have a general understanding of basic tactical concepts. The Elite curriculum is designed to introduce more nuanced technique (different types of attacks, finishing, etc.), while requiring wrestlers to think and make decisions in a more tactically demanding environment. Elite Academy wrestlers train three times a week, with regular competitions to allow wrestlers to implement key tactical concepts learned in combat situations. Matches are video-taped and wrestlers attend a monthly video analysis session in which wrestlers are asked to reflect critically on their decision-making, technical ability and options during the match. Wrestlers are also given weekly tactical homework, which consists of watching and analyzing professional-level matches consistent with the concepts they are learning each week. The Academy curriculum is based on 3 three-month training modules per season:
Training Module I: Sept 6- Dec 20
Training Module II: Jan 3 - March 21
Training Module III: April 3 - June 28
Sept 6 - May 28
