This stream of programming is designed for the athlete who has serious aspirations to train and compete at the next level, i.e. National Team or University. This competition structure is typically differentiated from typical high school sport in that the season may be longer and practices may be more in-depth and incorporate regular strength and conditioning sessions. Only some students are able to fit into this model based on the length and intensity of the athletes’ out of school sport commitment.
The Academy Women's Xcel program is specially designed for competitive high school female wrestlers who are working towards collegiate-level or professional wrestling (Olympic Team). The Pre-Jr Academy Xcel program is limited to 24 wrestlers. Wrestlers must be selected into the Xcel program after evaluation to ensure the quality of the training environment. The Academy Xcel program curriculum focuses on advanced technical and tactical concepts, including weekly competetion and monthly video analysis of Academy Xcel matches.In addition to training, Xcel wrestlers will have the following benefits of being affiliated members of the program: Four training per week with regular matches against solid competition

The Xcel curriculum refines basic and advanced technical skill with a focus on repetition and integration into each wrestlers game.
